I have hesitated from using TechTool since it destroyed my permissions on my brother's iMac making it unbootable. Found out about the Tiger incompatibility a little late. I ordered the update which took weeks to come, though they delayed to send me the newest version that came out after I ordered it. That I appreciated. I still can't decide if I should ever defragment again. I religiously use and trust Diskwarrior and am very caution to use this tool again. Any words of advice?
