Yepp... total agreement... would be VERY nice if it worked. Is this really tested before they put it out to the common people?

I had this problem, too, at first - I had copied the component to /Library/iQuickTime/, and still it crashed. Then I looked and found that the old component was still in ~/Library/QuickTime/. I deleted that one, and now it works!

Hooray!

Finally, I can listen to my Oggs again. :-)
