Re: CRASHES every time - NeoOffice.org

Please file a bug report at http://bugzilla.neooffice.org or post in the support forum at http://trinity.neooffice.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewforum&f=7 .

Crashes are relatively rare and something anomalous is going on....

CRASHES every time - JKT

Do you use the Unsanity APE/Haxies at all? If so disable them or add NeoOffice/J to the exclusion list - the APE system is incompatible with Java 1.3.1 which NOJ uses and could be the source of any crashes.

Also/Or:

Quit NOJ, then temporarily move your ~/Library/NeoOfficeJ-1.1 folder to the desktop, re-open NOJ and try again. This process will reset the app to its default preferences. If the problem stops happening after this, then either a preference setting was stopping the function from working or something was corrupted in your old NOJ user folder. The easiest thing to do is trash the old user folder currently on your desktop and go through the process of setting your preferences again. Once set, I'd make a backup copy of the newly created user folder just in case you need to do something similar again - then you can simply replace the ~/Library/NeoOfficeJ-1.1 folder with a copy you know works.

If it doesn't help, you can simply move the old user folder back and overwrite the newly created one to restore all your old settings.
