Let me suggest that you stop by the Shirt Pocket forums -- http://www.shirt-pocket.com/forums -- and ask your question up there. There are a lot of people hanging out (including me) who can help.

But -- the quick answer is "it depends what you mean". SuperDuper! can't magically recover your disk, but if you've created a backup onto a supported (by the Mac) boot device, it's easy to boot from it -- you just hold down Option when you power on, and select the drive.
