BluePhoneElite - Dan Warne
$0.10 is cheaper than the local SMS rate in Australia, which is $A.25. And I also value the desktop widget 'form factor' - right there on my screen all the time whenever I need it. (Plus I don't have to go and find my phone if it's not near my computer.)Monday, January 30 2006 @ 01:30 PM PST

Send SMS, unlike BluePhoneElite, allows you to send an SMS even without you having a mobile. BluePhoneElite also requires Bluetooth. Send SMS requires neither, only an Internet connection.Secondly, sending an international SMS with the Send SMS widget is certainly a lot cheaper than using your own mobile.
