Quits immediately when selecting "Check for problems" - alredling

I have the same problem here on five different machines. It has been since April since this has been updated, and I know I have downloaded it and used it since then. I am wondering if it was a recent Windows update that broke Spybot. I too am looking forward to an update. This is a great product, but not so great when it can't do it's job!
