Why to update every kext - Stuart Leitch

I update every kext whether I think I need it or not. Because:
my G4 450 was having lots of •kernel panics•, sometimes six in a row. I almost gave up and bought a new Mac. A smart tech figured out that it might be a kext problem. I didn't know about them, but now I always update them.

(So, did the kernel panics stop? Yes, but they always were intermittent. I'd have a dozen in a day, then none for weeks. So I'm just being careful here with kext files.)
