Of course it is OK to rate a bad software bad, wether it is free or not. I'd actually be more happy if this software cost money. Why? Because maybe then companies would stop distributing their releases in .sit format. Hell, even this software itself is distributed in DMG. Go figure, it does everything that is needed, and it's OS X native, no need to install. Stuffit's only purpose is to perpetuate its historical purpose, and that purpose has been filled otherwise.I've had my problems with Stuffit in the past, but this release seems to be OK. It's just superfluous, that's all.
