I haven't yet been able to download 4.0.5. The Micromat server is busy. But I did use TTP4 on a back-up drive to remove the eDrives on two Powerbooks.
On my G3Pismo (with a Daystar G4, 550mhz upgrade), the removal trashed the main partition and I had to erase all and transfer all data and system over from a new back-up. After the eDrive removal, even Disk Warrior said that the main partition was no longer usable.
On my 1.67G4, the removal went like a charm and Disk Warrior was happy with the re-united partition.
