Dude... i have the same problem that you had... and i try your advice but my isync still dont work. I dont know, maybe i am doing something wrong... i am not sure if i am installing the real file... i open pacifist, then search for isync and install the file isync.app ... is that ok? Thanx.

I had the same problem with my father's iBook. He had deleted iChat, but with Pacifist I was able to retreive it. Awesome. ^^
