I totally agree with you. I have send a complain to OmniGroup and I was the only one. If nobody tell them, they will never change their icons. It's really a shame that the new version has a worse look then the old version.

You know something is right with an application if the only thing you can complain about is the icon.

I've had to use Windows machines before...the icon can be as ugly as they want it to be as long as it maintains the OmniGroup's feel and adherence to Cocoa guidelines.
