well, if u have a 30" display no advantages.... but for ppl with 12" is a bit like having more than a desktop, all that with a "F12"

For people who use it occaissonally - jscotta44_1

It is very useful for people like myself who do not use Terminal regularly enough to have it on the Dock or up and running all the time. It is very nice to have it at the press of a button. It is the only way? No. But it is a very nice option.
