I just updated two Macs (iBook and Power Mac G5) without any problems... so please stop blaming Apple, I guess you just made a mess of your (system) configuration - like most PC users like to do - and something has gone wrong.

Maybe you're just born to use a Windows PC.

there is something else wrong with your computer if you can't start it up. don't blame this update... I get so tired of seeing these kind of comments every time an OS updater is released.
