It's not what does it do better than Activity Monitor, it is that it does something totally different from Activity Monitor.
Activity Monitor *monitors* the state of applications, as the name implies. You can also kill apps in Activity monitor.

This tool is a GUI to pause and resume apps and to adjust their Unix scheduling priorities. Neither you can do with Activity Monitor, last I checked.

I found this app to do exactly what its out to do... I found your review Unhelpful.. this app does not deserve a 1 star post just "cause you did not read the manual"

Read the manual or keep the negative ratings to yourself. With your logic (and lack of intellectual curiosity), Photoshop would be "totally useless".
