Is there any other app that does this feature? - iHatePC

It appears that Dragthing can do pretty much the same thing as Autohide. One thing Dragthing is missing is the "never hide when switching to" option which I find very useful.

HideIt Control, shareware $10, works well on an Intel iMac. And, it is Universal.

Also, ASM has hide others as one of its features.
