Hmmm - mshepherd

Most here are aware that this is a package. Some have had success by dropping it into a folder and creating a .dmg, then mounting & installing from there. Something is up with the disk check. My situation meets all the requirements for installation, and it is not working in my case.

The problem seems to be that the VolumeCheck utility included in FontTools.pkg is not executable. If you do the following:
chmod +x PATH_TO_THE_PKG/FontTools.pkg/Contents/Resources/VolumeCheck
from the command line.

The installer will will work.

Changing the permissions on the disk check worked fine, but the installer failed at the final step, giving me a vague error and a "Please try installing again." I did, and it errored again.
This package needs to go back to Apple for a redo.

Is fine now. Both files are executable (-rwxrwxrwx) right out of the box.
