[Developer] Possible, but on my 2x 2GHz G5 it's difficult to measure the difference ;-) to a point I can be sure of it. If you do not need the new features you might as well stick with 1.5fc28.The other advantage of 1.6 is that Glenn Anderson contributed a lot of changes in the underlying TCP code that dramatically improves stability. So you might want to sacrifice performance for stability (although that might be positively un-american ;-)
