So what this all comes down to then is that the change was made to fix an unintentional feature in Toast that circumvented the DRM of AAC/iTunes.There's a reason why we are only allowed to burn 7 copies of a playlist.

You mean burn Audio CDs?, big deal, can do that from iTunes, AND I can duplicate that CD with Toast if needed (but I don't do that). I just burned a data CD full of songs purchased from iTunes without problem. To be honest, I make Audio CDs of every album or song purchased from iTunes, just in case. I don't see any reason to use Toast for that.

6.1 fixes some Tiger compatibility issues, which is certainly a valid reason for many people to upgrade. And for me that's more important than issues with iTMS purchases since those have workarounds, even if inconvenient.Thursday, May 12 2005 @ 03:50 PM PDT

What is the difference in burning via Toast or iTunes? iTunes is certainly more convienent isn't it? Why would anyone want to burn in Toast. Just seems like more steps. Maybe I'm missing something?Reply to This
