I was under the impression that your problem with SFTP was resolved. This was a small bug in the initial release of version 4.0 which we subsequently rectified.

I have sent you a new trial key for 4.0.1 so that you can try it out, and I will look forward to receiving your comments.

Perpetual problems - PQXYZ33

Hello John,

Thank you very much for your prompt reply to my e-mail detailing my plight in not being able to try this latest version. You did send me a 30 day trial key, and that made it possible for me to try Captain--once again. And once again, unfortunately, there are problems which make the program unusable for me in SFTP mode (although it seems to work OK in FTP mode):

1) The program once locked up on download of a simply 8k text file (the progress bar showed continuous download). Had to force quit the program in order to try again.

2) Although uploads in SFTP get where they are going just fine, downloads in SFTP don't occur at all. Even though the program indicates that they were completed satisfactorily. The downloaded file(s) don't show up at all, either in the default download directory or the directory to which "dragged." It/they are nowhere to be found even via a Finder search. Note: I have tried just every pref configuration that would likely affect this.

This is as far as I have gotten. I don't want to experiment, rather I want to upload/download files.
