Uh, if they don't say that it WILL translate a particular format, you should assume that it WON'T. You're complaining because it won't translate a format that they don't claim that it will. Very strange logic. As a famous person once say, RTFM.

RTFM is little help when at best many file you run into have a three letter extension. How are you supposed to know that .doc is not a format this program supports? Also OpenOffice will open more formats than this will and is free.
