Still the only solution! - Gary P
I took my dual 2.7 in twice for service under warranty. The first time, Apple replaced the proccessors. The beeping was not fixed. The second time, Apple replaced the motherboard & the power supply. The beeping was not fixed. Actually, both techs claimed they couldn't hear the beeping. Why would Apple spend $1600 in parts to attempt to fix an issue they deny even exists? I have given up. It's CHUD-->Uncheck Nap from now on.Wednesday, September 21 2005 @ 05:51 PM PDT

regarding the CHUD tools. I have used it to "Nap" the computer so it runs about 15 deg cooler and much quieter. But recent builds do not have it available. You mentioned turning it off, can you tell me how to turn it on?Reply to This
