I've seen this once and a while - GENERALLY speaking they open fine but every now and then they close right away. Probably 60% of the time this is due to some issue with whatever command I was calling to open the tab (ie I have a lot of SSH connections in my bookmarks, once in a while the remote SSH server can't accept the connection for some reason).

But yeah, it does happen for no reason from time to time - I can't figure it out or manage to reliably reproduce it.
