Disappointed by the removal of run as root - JKT

Why do your students need to back up their entire boot volume? What's wrong with simply backing up their home folders and the contents therein (which doesn't need to be done in root)?

**PLEASE** bring back the option of running as root! The rigmarole of logging out and in as root, then out again every time the user needs to back up system files destroys the convenience of this software. It's ridiculous!
