Different features. You might try comparing SuperDuper! with Carbon Copy Cloner since they're more similar than SD! and FoldersSynchronizer. And FS is more similar to ChronoSync.

How does SD compare to FoldersSynchronizer - sackerman

I use both. FoldersSynchronizer might be a bit more fine-grained with regard to file selection and sync type but you just can't beat SD's ease of use, backup and cloning features.
