Is this REALLY the price! - polydron

yes. it is not for most people. it is for people who own a piano and a tuning tools.

if you look at other piano tuning software with the stretch feature, you probably have no problem with $99.

Do you have any idea whatsoever, of the cost of a tuning strobe? Do you even play an instrument? Have you ever tuned an instrument? The quality of this program far exceeds the best strobe. I agree with the concert pianist above. Of course, I'm a professional organist and pianist and I tune my own instruments, too, but if it's good enough for us, it's good enough.

For $995, CyberTuner is a powerful and very full-featured tuner. Yea, that's out of the budget for most of us. Strobosoft Deluxe, for $80, is not currently designed for pianos (although they have hinted that a piano version is in development). If Piano Tuner does what it promises, and does it well, I'd happily pay $49 for it. But whether it's worth $99 might have something to do with how few licenses they may sell.

Re: Is this REALLY the price! - sonicraft

For $995, CyberTuner is a powerful, featured-rich tuner. Strobosoft Deluxe is $80 and is not currently designed for pianos (a piano version is reportedly in development), but a workaround to create stretch tuning maps is possible. If Piano Tuner works as well as the description, I will be happy to pay $49, but willing to pay $99.
