Once again....... - GEllenburg

When will commenters realize that the price for software is reflective on the perceived value and time it saves the end-user and not some mythical costs assocaited with what the perceived production and distribution costs for a package may or may not be?

Macromedia Studio MX 2004 and Adobe Creative Suite costs well over $1,000 but in reality may only cost $25.00 to "produce" (CD duplication, printing, packaging, and shipping)! Yet, there's obviously a market for the products due to the continued success of the product lines.

>Once again, when will developers realize that shareware is supposed to be >priced lower than Commerical software, found in stores.

Who told you that? And why do you believe them?

If $20 is a lot, then this is not software you need.

Once again....... - Sean McDermott

Your post should read what the market will "bear," unless the market is "bare" naked.

EXPENDITURES, not EXPENDATURES. Is SpellCheck $20.00? : )
