Try contacting us at mtr@ripdifferent.com so we can get some more info from you. There seem to be problems with Virex causing issues with MTR as you describe. Also, do older versions of MTR also give you the same problem? Are these DVDs from different regions than the one your drive is set to? Have you tried repairing the permissions on your MacOS X drive using Disk Utility?

Yikes! Lots of failures. I, too, have had problems with MTR. Search on "DVDBackup" and try that app. DVDBackup has always worked great for me (but I haven't tried those titles you mention).
