I'm trying to switch my mom over to the mac, and she uses citrix. I don't know much about it, but are you saying that through citrix she can access windows applications without using Virtual PC? Citrix just dials up her work server and serves the application remotely?

if you can connect to a citrix server, you can launch whatever applications are published. talk to the citrix admin for any server/policy related questions.
