Yes, I can underwrite this!
I try to update since 3 years for a ScanMaker 5700.
Mac OS gets new... Microtek scannerdriver became old... and older...
On the main-download page in singapore ( http://202.39.72.2/Singapore/Web/driver-page/SM.php ) the only driver for my 3 year old scanner is official supported 'til OS 10.3.
It works with OS 10.4.10 - but if I switch off the scanner before I close the app - there is an unexpected quit by the app, and the same, if I switch between professionel and easy Interface.

No good support?! Isn't it?

Only newest scanner get a new driver. Older ones (after a year or so) aren't supported anymore...
There has been a good time with "apple scanner one" and agfa scanners two...
Tell me, if I'm wrong!
