As I use a theme, I did not notice the metal frame Mellel puts around a document. For me, only the title bars have a metal look. Sorry.

i support trashing the ugly metal frame! many users complain about the looks of mellel. nisus express looks so much nicer although it is far behind mellel when it comes to stability and features.

Change the metal look - rkevinhill

In v.2.08, go to Preferences, turn off the metal look, close and relaunch the program, and you get the white/grey aqua interface.
