"it works" is wrong, coz work is to be done w/o errors - Bill Dawson

saschxd, what are you smoking?

Windowshade works in 10.3 and always has. I have NEVER been without it since it came out. (In fact I have never been without it since OS9, but that was another developer.)

I stay cutting-edge updated on all my software. All 5 of my machines have Windowshade among a dozen other haxies and system patches. I write code for a living and can't afford to have an unstable environment and have no problem at all with this this one. I find it indespensable.

You should look elsewhere for your instablity. Have you supplied the developer with your System Profiler output?

I, too, use WSX on various OS 10.3.x machines, and it works flawlessly. I've never had a problem with it, and I use it all the time.

I shied away from it after upgrading to OSX10.3, but I returned to it with the WS 3.5 release. Some of the animation may work imperfectly, but all the functions work as advertised.

I'm running 10.3.8 and it is working here. You must have done something to your system. Why don't you try to reinstall it.
