Quake 3 is not a real-use situation either - Stormchild

Why would you run Quake 3 in an emulator when you can get the product for the Mac? Doesn't sound like real-use to me. It's also well known that nobody tries to run games in an emulator. They're just too slow for that kind of thing.

Demos are not based on real-use situations - -=Someone=-

FYI, Quake 3 is often used for benchmarking purposes. It has nothing to do whether or not it's available for Mac. It's about testing the number of frames per second you can get. And yes, some people do play games on their PC emulator. There are games not available for Mac that they like to run. Sometimes they are playable, but most often they are a nightmare.
