PAL/NTSC conversion? - Notary Sojac
*sigh* If only it did. I am still searching for PAL => NTSC conversion software that does a decent job and does not cost an arm & a leg.SERBIAN's "DVD Converter" does a mediocre job (copy is dark & muddy) and won't handle input files larger than 2Gb due to a limitation in QuickTime.
There's a plug-in for FinalCut Pro that is supposed to be great (can't recall the name) but I don't have a grand laying around to purchase FCP in the first place.
Atlantis is supposed to be pretty good for the $100-200 range, but I haven't tried it yet.

PAL/NTSC conversion? - macuser25
MacTheRipper can remove region coding...Popcorn compresses the video and fits it to a blank DVD that you can record. It doesn't change the video - so it does not convert PAL to NTSC.
