Here's a thought... how about you bid the maximum about you are willing to pay then if somebody snipes you it doesn't really matter because they exceeded what you where willing to pay anyway.... I am going to give this program a go and report back.

I've also been on eBay for over 5 years and I have no problem with the concept of sniping. It's part and parcel of being on an online auction. If you don't like it, try QXL, Lycos or one of the other second-rate auctions.

According to lots of articles on the web, ebay is aware of the sniping and is OK with it. Anyway, I like sniping, so there :-).
