No luck with ArtPad II - slahteine

I have a serial ArtPad II and it communicates fine with my Keyspan USA28X here.

Do *any* of your adapters' serial ports show up in the Port menu at the top of the TabletMagic window? If so, that's a good start. The ArtPad II runs at 9600 baud with 8 data bits, parity none, and 1 stop bit. If the serial ports are showing up the program ought to be able to make at least fleeting contact with your attached tablet.

If the ports aren't showing up try reinstalling the Keyspan driver and removing the driver for the other device, then test just the Keyspan. (This step is to eliminate the possibility that the two devices' drivers conflict with each other.)

If it's still not working after that email me, the author in the readme file.

No luck with ArtPad II - jonasdreams

Hello, I am sorry for not contacting you via e-mail and I hope you'll read this but couldn't find any adress in the readme file.

I have a similar problem: I got an ArtPad 2, too that I can connect via an USB-ADB adpater to my G4. And I installed TabletMagic 2.0 beta 2and it somehow has the right serial connection-settings (as you described them in this comment) and the »do self test-send« menue was enabled after rebooting but the test does not seem to work and the tablet can only be used like a mouse (the active area does not represent the monitor).

If you could help me with this issue I would be really great full. You can contact me via jonaslaugs [at] web.de

Thanks a lot,

Jonas
