Like I said, XP does a marvelous job at doing this, don't see why this is so hard to implement on OS X.
Same here. I find the OS's functionality counterintuitive, and had hoped that MIX would supply the same functionality that M$WXP has, but instead I get stuff like a menu with 20 identical entries with the name of my samba-mounted volume from another machine.
I also marvel that after all these years Apple doesn't have a way to move a window to the bottom.
