Anyone who takes this attitude about legitimate reasons for copying DVD's obviously has not spent hundreds of dollars replacing damaged disks because their kids destroyed them.

Is that you have no understanding of the copyright laws of the US. I am allowed to make a copy of a legitimatly purchased disk. If I own the DVD, I get to have fair use of it. Fourty Two is an excellent program that allows just that. And if you don't want to pay, use his free version.
