What Apple says about Panther, OS X, and defragmentation.... - Budpwr
I use Panther and my HD seems to still need Defragmentation. This is according to Norton Utilities.
Now If some would tell me of a good Utility that can replace Norton, I would be happy to check it out. Norton (Symantecs) seems to have stopped supporting Apple entirely. All they have is the same stuff from 2003.
By Utilities I mean the same as Norton but to include Anti-Virus, Defrag, Internet Security, Etc.
