Just received a email from the developer who explained the reasons behind his no upgrading policy and I will revise my position now that he has provided some of the reasons behind the policy. It is complicated but one of those deals where the closing of the doors of C&G has left some developers caught in a rather difficult position. I won't go into the details but leave it to the developer if he cares to post the details here and on his web site. I understand his position and hope he chooses to make it more public in the future.
