Shortening the development cycle and allowing LESS time for testing does not allow for fewer bugs. In fact, it's quite the contrary. (What a radical idea, hey?) If only you catch bugs BEFORE a release goes out then the next bug-fix release a few days later won't be necessary to begin with. (Another radical idea.)
