I subscribed to VersionTracker because of all the hard work they did before there was a pay option. As I subscriber I find the site much more useful, not to mention ad free. I don't know if youhave a .Mac account or not (probably not since you are not willing to pay for VT) but if you do .Mac offers a free VT subscription. The site is completely different for subscribers and the features VT has added over the last year plus has made the subscription worth while. I have done clean installs of my system and then gone to VT and "saw the site the way the other side sees it" and based on that I can agree with your frustration. The New version of this application in conjunction with the website is finally come into its own. If you are not a subscriber then you don't know what you are missing in this fabulous tool. Until this latest version of the desktop software I could not say that with the same feeling.
