Too busy/important to read the read me, clearly, so let me assist:1. IMPORTANT! - for iBook or PowerBook users
If you are using an iBook or PowerBook, you should be aware that Mac OS X version 10.3 (Panther) made modifications to how it detects the presence of a mouse for the "Ignore trackpad when mouse is present" feature in Apple's Mouse settings in System Preferences. These modifications cause it to detect Kensington MouseWorks as a present mouse, even when NO Kensington mouse is plugged in.
