Panther and NetBarrier - Hetty

Forgot to mention, I had done an upgrade of NetBarrier to 10.3.1 before installing Panther.

Hum, if you did a clean install and updated the product before the clean install. How can the product be there?

Panther and NetBarrier - cscavalry

NetBarrier on 10.3 is dangerous!

Whenever Netbarrier was installed on 10.3 the system would crash on startup!

Because Netbarrier installs a daemon and is a extension it cannot be uninstalled by hand. And because you cannot boot uninstall does not do any good even from an external disk.

The only way to bring your system back up is to erase your hard drive.

This has happened on eight other computers already includingn my own.
Aweful situation.
