From a third party view, you should actually remove your negative feedback. You tried to use a program made for something you didn’t understand, it didn’t work given incorrect input, then you give it a bad rating. I wouldn’t call it ‘defensive posturing’, the guy went out of his way to tell you what you were doing wrong even though you weren’t trying to use the program for what it was meant for in the first place.Monday, January 19 2004 @ 02:01 AM PST

I guess I will claim ignorance though I am not certain why I had to make a post at all to get some sort of information on the program.In the past I've used mainly Etherpeek but others as well for network troubleshooting needs so while I am no expert I have networking experience. But I will accept your "slight", as I will put it, as defensive posturing.
