Not a "standard" way, but nonetheless works ---> Pull the offending application out of your "Applications" folder and put it in a folder that you create. I have a folder named "Apps w/Services f" that I created. I put this folder in my "Home" folder. Anything in it, that had cluttered up the Services menu, no longer shows up. Hope this helps.
