Certainly I agree that support and stability are very important when judging a product, but they are not the only criteria. Considering the number of posts regarding the cost of BBEdit, I think it is clear that price is a serious consideration that extends beyond my own experiences. Indeed, even VT recognizes the importance of a product's price, by allowing users to give Price its own star rating when adding a Review.
