why not avi? because you can't play them? use mplayer or vlc to play them. If your computer's slow, use divx doctor.Friday, June 20 2003 @ 04:10 PM PDT

AVI and Mov are just wrappers for movies, they have little to do with the movie content and codec. You can have a DIVX avi or mov, motion jpeg avi or mov, cinepak, etc... there is very little difference. Container files used to store information like bitrate and how the audio and video were multiplexed but in with modern codecs, they rarely even do that. Saying AVI is bad is like saying the soup in my ziplock bag is worse than the exact same soup in your tuporware when the reality is, you just don't know how to open my ziplock bag.Saturday, June 21 2003 @ 12:42 PM PDT
