To suppress popup and popunder windows, open the OW preferences, go to the JavaScript section and set the option to open new windows only in response to a link being clicked.

Impressive - MachoMan X

Pipelining is shown as an option for Secure Connections under the HTTPS preference pane. Don't know if it's on by default for everything else.
