Hi !Sorry for the time, but I hadn't seen your hidden message on the message board. You should have mailed me directly...
For basic suff :
- MacOsX is a graphical interface, where you launch programs and interact with them with your mouse. But, it is also possible to open a command console where you launch programs by typing text commands with your keyboard.
- As I havn't any Mac to try this, I'm not sure of the way to open such a command console, but you should find it quite easily (?)
- when you open it, all actions that you will ask will be though "relative to a current place on your disk". Then, the "cd" command will enable you to change this place to go to an other directory. "mkdir" command will enable you to create a new directory on your disk, ...
If you find the above explanations sufficient to understand the main principle, I think that the help page I gave you will be more clear :
