Just wanted to add in case anyone assumes I'm an idiot that I have regular scheduled backups so no probs there. It just seems a bit odd that a tiny li'l update can render everything, it would seem, in my home folder totally useless - did a complete reinstall of 10.3 in passing this morning (archive & install) but no prefs can be saved, Keychain Access still can't open my keychain, iTunes no longer recognises the music library, to list just a couple of initial observations. I've been using the new 'File Vault' facility to secure the home folder as I use a laptop (PB800, 1GB RAM) and am wondering whether this may have had a bad reaction to the update..?
